The Heart Behind the Mission
I’m Sally Mary, founder of Operation Better Me. My life has been anything but easy—but every part of it has prepared me to serve.
As a U.S. Army Veteran, I believe in brotherhood and never leaving anyone behind. That’s why I created a nonprofit to reduce and end veteran homelessness.
I became a nurse to walk alongside others during their healing. A paralegal, to advocate for equality and justice. A certified life coach with EverCoach Mindvalley, to bring structure and soul to the coaching process. And VUCA certified, so I can guide people through the chaos of modern life with calm, awareness, and joy.
I’ve survived poverty, abuse, single parenthood, and the deep responsibility of being the eldest child after losing my father at five. But what I’ve learned is this: pain is temporary—and so is pleasure. What matters is what you do with both.
My mission is simple: help others find the meaning, confidence, and joy they were born for.
